VQC Measuring process

The VQC is an optical measuring machine for use in manufacturing. The work pieces are placed on an inclined glass plate and optically scanned using a CCD camera. Then the camera images are assembled in to a complete scan of the work piece. This result now is then compared with the CAD drawing of the part using the PC-controller of the machine.

Any discrepancies between the target and actual are shown graphically within seconds. Automatic inspection logs can be generated on request. Using this process, the inspection dimensions can already be determined by the design department. The permitted tolerances for each individual dimension, or for the entire part, can be saved. Of course, inspections can also be carried out in accordance with applicable standards.
